Our Story
We’re Keshia and Shemeka, cousins and owners of Eta J, and we have always had a love for weddings! Many Brides and Grooms stress about wedding planning. There is so much to think about and do, right? Well when the time came to plan a wedding for one of our very own Brides and her Groom, we were ecstatic! We paid attention to every detail whether big or small, weighed all available options (uniqueness, theme, quality, budget), organized and tracked all important information needed for the big day. In the midst of all the planning, we managed to have fun every step of the way. However, there was one important part that neither of us could play as Bride and Maid of Honor. We still needed someone to bring it all together and make sure the day went off without a hitch. Thus, we hired a wedding coordinator who made sure the day flowed beautifully and smoothly. Here at Eta J we guarantee to do the same for your wedding day, ensuring that it is beautiful, memorable and as stress free as possible for you and your special guests.
The story of our name comes from the first initials of the most important women in our lives; Ethel (our grandmother), Teresa (Keshia’s mother), Angie (our Aunt) and Jacqueline (Shemeka’s mother). These four ladies molded us into becoming the women we are today, playing intricate roles to our health, well-being and success. For that, we will forever be grateful for them.
